Alpha is for people who are asking questions about life and Christianity - what is the meaning of life? what happens when we die? is Jesus Christ relevant to my life and the world today? how do we deal with guilt? Alpha is a ten week course of held in the evenings at Riverside House in Moseley. The evening begins with a welcome and a hot meal during which you can meet others on the course. This is followed by a short talk to introduce the topic of the evening and then we break into small discussion groups in which people can talk over, question and chat about the topic and anything else they want to bring up. Alpha is for everyone, and is particularly suitable for: people investigating Christianity newcomers to the church new Christians Christians who want to go through the basics Like our church the Alpha course at Riverside attracts people from a broad range of backgrounds and walks of life.
