We’d like to welcome you to join us at the Alpha course here at Riverside Church. Alpha is for people who are asking questions about life and Christianity – what is the meaning of life? what happens when we die? is Jesus Christ relevant to my life and the world today? How do we deal with guilt?
What is Alpha?
Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith
Learning about the Christian faith and having fun at the same time.
Pasta & Pudding. Getting to know others over a tasty meal.
Helping one another and discussing the issues raised in small groups.
Ask anything. No question is too simple or too hostile.
Alpha is a ten week course held in the evenings at Riverside House in Moseley. The evening begins with a welcome and a hot meal during which you can meet others on the course. This is followed by a short talk to introduce the topic of the evening and then we break into small discussion groups in which people can talk over, question and chat about the topic and anything else they want to bring up.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone, and is particularly suitable for:
- people investigating Christianity
- people with no church background
- newcomers & new Christians
- Christians who want to go through the basics
Like our church the Alpha course at Riverside attracts people from a broad range of backgrounds and walks of life.
