RIVERSIDE KIDS

WE BELIEVE THAT CHILDREN PLAY A VITAL ROLE TODAY AND FOR THE FUTURE. WE WANT TO GIVE CHILDREN GOOD ROLE MODELS, A HEALTHY SPIRITUAL FRAMEWORK FOR THEIR LIVES AND ENABLE THEM TO DISCOVER GOD’S LOVE.

We provide safe, well-equipped and caring environments in which to help your children grow, and discover something of God’s love for them. All of our children’s groups are led by fully trained children’s workers who are DBS cleared in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy.

KIDS CHURCH ON SUNDAYS

Where?
On Sundays we meet together at two different locations; either Tally Ho Conference Centre (B5 7RN) or at our Central Hub: Riverside House (B13 8AR). See our Gatherings Page for more information and to plan your visit.

What Happens?
Adults and kids are together for the beginning of the service. Kids then leave the service to join their groups. At Kids Church we run groups for children aged 0-11 where we learn, have fun and get to know each other better. All the information about where the children need to go is provided during the service.

We also regularly run ‘Generations Gatherings’. These are all about everyone being together during the service. From the youngest to the oldest, we worship God together, learn from the Bible and respond to what God is saying.  We believe that intergenerational worship is fundamental to who we are as a church. See our Gatherings Page to see when we are next having a Generations Service.

KIDS LIFE GROUPS

We also run Kids Life Groups each fortnight on a Wednesday for children in school year 6. The aim of these groups is to help children understand more about their faith and give them a good foundation in their relationship with God before they move into the challenging environment of secondary school.

All upcoming dates and times of these small groups are available via our church calendar ( Simply select ‘Age related – Children’s Church’ from the dropdown) or see ‘upcoming events’ section below.
