At the very heart of church life are our community groups where discipleship happens through participation and sharing lives. These groups are around 20-25 in size, and meet in different areas across South Birmingham. Many have an active outward focus to the local community, as well as being an excellent way to connect with and settle into the church family. They are a place where you can contribute to the lives of the others, meet with God and reach out across Birmingham.
The aim of each community group is to enable its members to more fully experience Jesus through worship, fellowship and active participation.

We always welcome new people and gatherings usually centre around food, fellowship and sharing lives. Groups are often out about in their locality helping people practically with gardening or decorating and are outwardly focussed to build relationships with school, homes and forums where they are located. Some groups have a workplace focus and may be linked to a particular area of the church mission.
