Many students from all over Birmingham come to Riverside so there is a great opportunity to meet and get to know a wide variety of fellow students. We also host students from Riverside School of Performing Arts.So whether you are from Birmingham University, Aston University, Birmingham City University, University College Birmingham or elsewhere, we would love to welcome you and help you find a spiritual home with us.
We want to really encourage and support you in your faith, particularly to equip you to impact your campus for Jesus. Many of our students have also found Riverside a great place to make their home after completing their studies.
We hold student lunches each term at Riverside House to welcome new students and bring together the student community at Riverside. Students belong to the 18plus group at Riverside and are welcome to join in all their events. To find out more contact Emma Keeling (18plus intern).
Student Taxi
If you would like to come to the 11.15am Sunday service we can arrange transport for you.
There is a free taxi that picks people up at 10.50am.
If you are a first year or live in the Harborne area, meet at Tennis Courts car park. If you live in Selly Oak, meet at the bottom of Dawlish Road (close to Bristol Road). We will also make sure you have a lift back so don’t worry about that!

Student Lunches
There will be more free student lunches running throughout the year after the service for an opportunity to catch up and welcome in any new students.

As a student we want you to feel at home in Riverside and that it is a place where you can grow as a Christian. The door is always open if you want to chat, and if you want to meet up on campus then Emma is more than happy to come and visit! Don’t hesitate to get in touch.
