The Nehemiah Project

Steve and Mihaela Jones are intending to take 9 members of their Theatre Outreach Group, from Brasov to Constanta, on the Black Sea, in Eastern Romania, at the end of July. This town is approximately 400 Km. away. This is for a week-long Festival of Evangelism involving 40 young people, from all over Romania. The aim of those organising this event, is to touch the hearts of the unsaved, through one-on-one evangelism, and also Bible-based theatre presentations, and street mimes. The Baptist Church there is providing the accommodation, at no cost. Even so, these young Christian teenagers, and their families, are not really in a position to contribute much towards the £50 they would need, to pay for their travel and food, during these 8 days of outreach at the seaside. Because of this, Steve and Mihaela are hoping that some or all of the £450 that is needed, might be raised through donations, from anyone who considers this to be a venture that they would like to support. We’ve called this the ‘Nehemiah Project’, because it’s about encouraging the next generation to become actively involved in the building up of the Church.

Please pray that the Lord will provide the necessary money. All contributions, no matter how small, will be most welcome. If you would like to give a gift towards this project please make payable to ‘Riverside Church’ and specify it is for the ‘Nehemiah Project – Romania’. Thank you!
