Riverside is a great place to settle in. It has a real sense of belonging and a great variety of people to meet. It's not hard to get involved and the small groups and community groups really help you grow as a Christian and enjoy fellowship with other people in the church. The church really encourages you to reach out to friends and colleagues in the workplace and the Alpha Course provides a good opportunity for people with questions to explore the Christian faith. I'd recommend Riverside for anyone searching for a home and a place to grow in their faith. Even if you're not a Christian come along and see what it's all about.

I came to Riverside because it is the place where I became a Christian. I also like the fact that there is a wide variety of services and events on all throughout the year.

I choose to come to Riverside because the people are very welcoming and genuine. I also feel at home at Riverside. I particularly enjoy the evening praise and prayer services on Sundays nights. I intend to continue to be a member of Riverside for quite some time.

My family and I joined Riverside Church back in 1986, shortly after it began. I had come to the conclusion that it didn't make sense to travel miles to church, as we had been doing. We wanted to be part of a church that represented the community where we live, and in Riverside we found just that. Many families from our neighbouring streets also went to Riverside.

I would have to say that Riverside is the kind of church I feel comfortable inviting friends and neighbours to. It's always relevant and never boring.

My family and I have been at Riverside for several years. It's a great place for teaching and also has wonderful youth work ministries for my children. I'm involved in the men's ministry in the church, which makes an important part of the outreach and discipleship of the church. Being able to reach out to other men in the workplace is very important to me and having the support from the church and events to bring friends along to is an important link between what I do in the week and what my faith is all about.

Being at Riverside keeps us young. We don't want to become 'old people' frozen in time like woolly mammoths. The average age of Riversiders is way below ours in our seventies. There are all-types, from IT eggheads to callous-handed tradesmen, to sensitive-handed surgeons and left-handed footballers. You could well ask "what keeps us all together?" The answer is Jesus the Christ. We all agree that Christ is for us, even today. His life-blood is no longer pouring out, but his passion for broken people and for our broken world is as deep as ever. Magnetically he draws young and old, male and female, white and black, African and Asian, able and disabled. Whoever we are we fit in - we know that we do.

We really enjoy all the activities that Roc Solid do. There's always loads on like games, sports, activities and the teaching and discussion is really useful too. The youth pastors are really supportive and encourage us to develop our skills for God and to do our best. It's really fun making new friends and meeting people each week at Roc Solid... come along and see for youself.

Although my family is not at the church I usually go to MIFF - the youth program for 15-18 year olds at Riverside. It's a great place to hang out and meet people of my age and there's loads of great things on, from social and sports to meetings where we discuss issues and study things in the Bible which relate to our lives. The youth pastors put a lot of work into the things that happen at Riverside and I really appreciate all they do.
