How do we live A Life Less Ordinary, life in all its fullness?
We believe that the things that can make life extraordinary are friendship,
humour, family, challenge and Faith.
The women of Riverside Church are committed to bringing these elements together
in a variety of regular events and small groups. You are welcome to join us on
any one of these occasions. Please read on to find out more.
We have A Women’s Breakfast on the last Saturday of each month at Riverside
house between 8.30am and 10.30am.
These are great times of fun and sharing around tables with good food, lovely
presentation and an opportunity for learning and growth. These mornings are a
great way to make friends if you are new to the church or just wanting to
connect with people.
We have Craft and Canapés nights a couple of times a year when ladies get
together and explore their creativity with jewellery making , glass painting,
picture framing and many more activities.
These are excellent ticketed events which are hugely popular and a great
opportunity to invite friends who don’t usually attend Church. Each event has a
speaker and waiter service with wine, soft drinks and canapés served at the
tables.
We run ladies conferences at Riverside House covering a particular theme through
workshops, teaching, and practical input.These conferences are run by an
excellent team of women committed to spoiling you, serving you and equipping you
as women in a busy and challenging world. They are a chance for space,
developing deeper relationships, great food and good company.
Alongside these events we are committed to building community and depth of
relationship. You may want to meet up with other women in your area who are at a
similar life stage whether it is for food, chat, study, prayer or even all of
these. We can help you from a triplet, small group (day or eve) or a women’s
community group in your area.
