Abide

A year-long discipleship journey

Throughout the year, we offer three courses designed to help you grow in your relationship with God, deepen your understanding of the Christian faith, and strengthen your personal and community walk with Jesus. These courses focus on key areas of discipleship: following Jesus, exploring the Bible, and growing in your prayer life.

These courses are open for you to sign up to as an individual or with your connect group. They can be taken in any order.

Following Jesus

Who is Jesus, what did He teach, and how do those teachings speak into our lives today? In a world that often feels busy, distracted, and increasingly secular, how can we learn to abide in Him and meaningfully follow His way?

The Practicing the Way Course is an 8-week journey designed to help us explore these very questions. Through a blend of teaching, guided conversations, and simple spiritual practices, this course creates space to slow down, reflect, ask questions, and grow.

Together, we’ll look at the life and teachings of Jesus and consider what it means to be His apprentice—not just in theory, but in the everyday realities of modern life. To follow Jesus is to stay connected to Him, to let our lives be rooted in His truth and shaped by His presence.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore faith or longing to go deeper in your walk with Jesus, this course is a chance to abide in Christ and lay down roots for a strong, lasting foundation of discipleship.

The Bible

The Bible can sometimes feel overwhelming. Where do you begin, how do you make sense of it all, and what is it really saying to our lives today?

The Bible Course is an 8-week journey designed to help you explore the story of Scripture and grow rooted in God’s truth. Together, we’ll trace the big story of the Bible, looking at who wrote it, how it came together, what Christians believe about it, and the different types of writing it contains.

As we move through the major sections of the Bible, we’ll explore historical context, key themes, and important stories, all with the aim of helping us abide in God’s Word—to see more clearly who He is, what His plans are, and how His love unfolds throughout history.

Whether you’re new to the Bible or hoping to understand it more deeply, this course is a chance to grow rooted in Scripture, finding confidence, clarity, and a deeper connection with God’s Word.
