Arise Africa: An Open Doors Campaign

Back in January, I shared with you about the Arise Africa campaign—a call to stand with our brothers and sisters across Sub-Saharan Africa who are suffering because of their faith. Since then, so many of you have responded. You’ve prayed. You’ve shared. You’ve signed the petition. And I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

But friends, we’re not done yet.

Our goal is to raise one million voices through this petition so that we can go to world leaders and demand real action to protect those being persecuted. Right now, we’ve reached 270,000 signatures—a strong start, but still a long way from where we need to be.

Here’s the reality:

16.2 million Christians are displaced across Sub-Saharan Africa because of violence and persecution against the church. It’s staggering. And yet, few are talking about it.

In Northern Nigeria alone, over 3,100 Christians were killed last year for their faith.

Around 1,000 churches were burned down or destroyed by Boko Haram and Fulani militants.

The church across this region has asked us to stand with them, in prayer and in action.

So if you haven’t yet signed the petition, please do. If you have, thank you, and please share it with others. Every name counts. Every prayer matters. Together, we can raise one million voices and show our brothers and sisters in Africa that they are not forgotten.

Let’s keep standing, keep praying, and keep believing that change is possible.
