Steve & Mihaela Jones

Steve and Mihaela work in Brasov, Romania. They are part of a Hungarian Baptist church with four satellite congregations, one of which is in a local village near their home in Romania. This local church is where Steve and Mihaela are active, by preaching, teaching, and organising theatre productions. This past year, they put on a Christmas and an Easter production to help tell the stories of Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection.

For the past 20 years, they have been working amongst the local communities—orphans, vulnerable women, and the elderly in particular. Recently, they have rolled out a Bible programme in partnership with the Foundation for Disabled People.

Their work serves many children and young adults. While this has helped them feel young at heart, they ask for your prayers as they consider what the future holds for them. They have also asked for prayer for their team—that they all remain faithful in adversity, have patient endurance, and wisdom.
